You will be working an average of 15-20 hours across 3-5 days. You will be:

-       Working closely with your allocated retail channel to optimise store presence
-       Building strong working relationships
-       Ensure products are merchandised to standard, as per business plans and constructing / stocking displays
-      Providing feedback on set plans and identifying any potential merchandising opportunities in your designated channel

The successful candidate will:

-       Have their own car and a valid driver’s license
-       Be physically fit to work
-       Have a high attention to detail, good organisational skills and bring a high level of enthusiasm and commitment
-       Previous sales experience or a relevant qualification will be beneficial to your application but are not essential.

Reporting to the Merchandising Manager you will be servicing the Katherine  area. You will be required to work approximately 2 hours per fortnight, at our client sites and act as a conduit between both businesses.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring accounts are fully stocked and tidy to maximise customers sales
  • Placing re-orders for product
  • Using planograms to set up displays and related point of sale materials
  • Setting up seasonal displays
  • Liaising with owners / store management regarding displays
  • Removing all damaged merchandise
  • Participating in installations and revamps when required
  • Identifying additional sales opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Close proximity to Katherine
  • A creative, innovative and positive attitude
  • A strong attention to detail and take pride in your work
  • An ability to build and maintain rapport with others
  • An ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Basic/Intermediate computer skills

We are currently looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team looking after the Scoop & Weigh stand in Coles Birtinya working on a permanent part time basis. Hours are flexible making this role a good fit for someone who wants a flexible lifestyle and wanting work to fit inside this.

Hours of work; 17 hours per week

Monday & Thursday - 9.00am-1.00pm

Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday - 9.00am-12.00pm

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will ensure all bulk food bins on the stand are maintained to a high level of cleanliness and refill these with our products; which include: nuts, dried fruit and snack blends. Working independently, you will need to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing your duties. Other responsibilities include ordering of stock, unloading deliveries, stocktaking and being reactive to sales trend analysis. Your day to day will also include customer engagement, providing samples to and educating customers about our products as well as demonstrating how to shop the stand in-store.

Key success criteria’s:

  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated superior customer service skills preferred
  • Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Reliability is a MUST
  • Smart phone for clocking in/out purposes
