We are seeking a passionate and engaging Retail Assistant (Part-Time - 15 hours a week) to join our OPSM team in Victor Harbor! You will be involved in the customers journey from pre-testing equipment to dispensing and providing customised frames and lenses to suit their lifestyle.

  • Identify customers eyecare needs and requirements
  • Assist customers by tailoring our products and services to their lifestyles
  • Champion and promote Luxottica endorsed brands and products
  • Support the team members to achieve strong sales results
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

Who we want!

  • Optical experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • Exceptional communication skills in person and over the phone
  • Retail experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Proven track record of strong sales achievements
  • Ability to work during the week, weekends and public holidays

Enjoy working 2 to 3 days a week including predominantly Saturday, Monday and the ability to pick up extra day when staff are on annual leave and peak times of the business. We need flexibility to be able to accommodate a rotating roster between Monday to Saturday. 

Key Criteria

  • A strong knowledge of furniture and design would be advantageous
  • Extensive Sales experience
  • Ability to meet Sales targets
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate Computers skills
  • Current driver's license
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Proven success in managing client relationships

Simone Perele Lingerie requires experienced retail staff to work on a flexible Casual basis including weekdays, weekends and late night trading within leading Department stores and Retail stores throughout Adelaide.

This role is to cover the busy Christmas period, November to January, which could develop into a more permanent role.

The successful candidate will require the following Skills, Experience & Requirements:

  • Passion for luxury garments and quality brands
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Experience in a retail environment
  • Experience in the lingerie industry preferred but not essential as training will be provided
  • David Jones in-house training may need to be completed

We require someone who is mature minded, can show initiative, is a motivated self-starter, loves helping people, is an all-rounder and is interested in fashion to join our dedicated team of Brand Experts.
