We are looking for Santa’s Assistants to bring Magical Christmas to life with confident & positive attitudes.

You will be THE FACE OF SMOKEMART & GIFTBOX by assisting customers in finding the ultimate gift!

CHRISTMAS CASUAL CENTRAL/ EAST PERTH – Limited Contract

Positions available across multiple existing stores and the below pop-up shop locations:

1. Carousel

2. Belmont

3. Booragoon

Key Responsibilities Include:

· Customer service that grows sales and builds loyalty

· Achieve sales targets

· Cash handling

· Stock control, sales and quality management

· Vape product knowledge is desirable but not essential

What we are looking for

· A passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets

· Proven ability to work within a fast-paced retail environment

· A happy, friendly and energetic personality

· A desire to deliver high quality customer service

· Availability to work during Christmas Trading Hours, varying from 10 to 35 hours per week based on performance

· Right to work in Australia

· Lastly, sleigh-loads of love for Christmas and enthusiasm for all that comes with it!

For all roles you will NEED to have:

· A passion for retail and for putting customers first

· Flexible availability over the peak trading periods (Boxing Day availability essential)

· The expectation to work weekends, early morning starts (commencing from 6am) and midnight finishes (extended trade in December).

· Be available to commence and work throughout our peak trading period of November 2020 - January 2021 and MUST BE OVER 18 Years old.

· Valid police clearance no older than 6 months

ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Store Manager to join the Smiggle crew to lead and develop our team at our Midland Gate store in Midland!

To succeed in this role you will have a passion for our products and delighted by kids and parents alike. You will approach every day with an attitude of play!

This is a 34 hour part time position and will require availability over weekends, late night trading hours and public holidays.

DUTIES

  • Daily management of stock to minimise stock loss and maximise sales
  • Implement brand visual merchandising strategies and promotional changes
  • Develop, train and succession plan your team to increase productivity
  • Create a safe working environment for your team and customers
  • Roster your team in line with store’s trading profile

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • Previous management experience, preferably in retail
  • Ability to provide a genuine and unique customer experience
  • Proven ability to achieve sales, wages, KPI’s & stock loss targets
  • Previous Visual Merchandising experience working from a brief
  • Experience in developing and coaching a team
